WEMT Refresher Course
If you’ve completed one of our WEMT or WP courses within the past three years, our three-day refresher course is designed for you. It builds on your existing knowledge and skills, helping you update, refine, and expand your practice in wilderness medicine.
The course combines classroom sessions with practical outdoor learning, using a blend of tutorials and realistic scenario-based teaching. Whenever possible, training takes place outside to reflect the environments in which these skills are applied.
We place strong emphasis on shared experience—drawing on the real-world situations you and your peers have encountered since completing your WEMT—and use these to deepen learning and further develop your decision-making and clinical skills.
Our refresher course runs alongside the WEMT/WP programme at Glenmore Lodge, offering selected shared sessions and opportunities to engage with a broader cohort of highly motivated participants drawn to our courses.
Pre-Course Requirements:
The WEMT and WEMT Refresher certificate has a 3 year duration. If within this time please book the WEMT Refresher. If longer than 3 years, please book the full WEMT or WP.
